Marge Perry, Senior Registerred Private Client Associate

Marge joined Janney in 2005, coming over with Drew from Morgan Stanley.  She has 35 years of experience in the financial services industry and has been on Drew's team since 1997.  She assists with all administrative, operational, and client services issues and provides marketing and technology services to Drew and the branch.

Mark D. Luschini
Chief Investment Strategist, Janney Montgomery Scott LLC
Managing Director, Janney Capital Management

Mark Luschini serves as the Chief Investment Strategist for Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, leading the Investment Strategy Group. In that capacity Mark is responsible for establishing the firm’s broad outlook relating to conditions in the capital markets and the economy and to develop investment strategies best suited to satisfy the goals and objectives of individual and institutional clients. He also establishes the firm’s asset allocation models used for portfolio construction and financial planning. Additionally, Mark directs Janney Capital Management, the firm’s discretionary investment management division.

Under his leadership, Janney Capital Management has delivered competitive investment results across multiple strategies. The total assets under management has grown to more than $3.5 billion, with more than $2 billion in traditional equity and fixed income assets, and over $1 billion in various strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies utilizing exchange-traded products and mutual funds.

He is a member of the Janney Wealth Management Department’s Mutual Fund and Alternative Investment Committees. In Janney Capital Management, Mark chairs the Investment Committee which sets asset class and sector policy and directly participates in managing the equity, fixed income and asset allocation strategies under its advisory.

Mr. Luschini has spent more than twenty five years in the investment industry interfacing with both current and prospective clients. He utilizes that experience to speak on topics related to investment planning and asset management at seminars and conferences. His comments and written articles have been circulated in numerous publications ranging from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and the Philadelphia Inquirer to the New York Times, Barron’s, USA Today, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Money magazine and Worth. He has appeared in various media outlets including CNBC, Bloomberg Television, CNN, Fox Business News and PBS’s Nightly Business Report. He is a Trustee for Janney Montgomery Scott’s Pension & Profit Sharing Plan.


Guy Lebas
Chief Fixed Income Strategist

Mr. LeBas joined Janney in 2006 and is a Managing Director and the Firm’s Chief Fixed Income Strategist. He is responsible for overseeing Janney’s Fixed Income Strategy & Research (FISR) group, a team charged with providing insight into the bond markets across four verticals: Economic & Interest Rate Strategy, Credit Research, Municipal Research, and the Balance Sheet Strategies Group. Mr. LeBas and the FISR team author in-depth economic and bond market periodicals and providing provides relative value recommendations across the fixed income spectrum. In addition, FISR works closely with Financial Advisors in providing customized investment strategies for a range of institutional and high-net-worth clients. Mr. LeBas is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg TV, and Fox Business News as well as a regular speaker at financial industry conferences. He has been named among the “Bloomberg Best” for economic and bond market forecasting.

Prior to joining Janney, Mr. LeBas served as Interest Rate Risk Manager for U.S. Trust’s bank asset and liability portfolios, a role in which he oversaw risk and return on an $11 billion balance sheet. He received his education from Swarthmore College and is a CFA Charterholder.



Greg Drahuschak
Market Strategist

Mr. Drahuschak joined Janney in 1991. He has over 35 years of economic experience and provides daily, weekly and monthly market commentary to Janney and our clients. Prior to joining the Firm, he worked as a retail broker with—and eventually transitioned into the research departments of —Butcher & Singer and Wheat First Securities. He was also an instructor at Robert Morris College and the University of Pittsburgh.

Mr. Drahuschak has written articles for several newspapers and websites, and has been the visiting expert on many live radio broadcasts. He earned his B.A. in fine arts from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, as well as certificates from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and from the New York Institute of Finance.


Martin Schamis

Head of Wealth Planning

Martin Schamis is Head of Wealth Planning in the firm's Wealth Management division.  In this role, Mr. Schamis is responsible for the strategic direction of the Planning Solutions Group that supports more than 740 Financial Advisors who advise Janney's retail client base.

Mr. Schamis joined Janney from The Vanguard Group where he spent the majority of his eleven year tenure as Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Advise Services.  During his time there, he helped launch several successful financial planning initiatives including redesigning Vanguard's comprehensive financial planning offering as well as developing a solution connecting clients with Vanguard's CFP® Professionals for situational advice.  Prior to Vanguard, Martin worked as a financial advisor for Morgan Stanley.

He is a Certified Financial Planner ® Professional and holds FINRA Series 7, 66, and 24 licenses.

Martin graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Art from the University of Delaware and received an MBA in Finance from St. Joseph's University.
